- Sliced Bread
- Margarine or Butter
- Sliced Cheese (I like the Deluxe Kraft American Cheese but you can use whatever you like)
- Deli Sliced Ham, optional
Place the slotted baking tray on the 3rd level down int he Omni/Omni Plus, or the middle position on the Vortex Plus.
Preheat on Bake at 380° F for 3-4 mins (If you are adding more than 1 slice of cheese or deli meat, set time to 5-6 mins. The more filling the more time.). Press Start.
Butter one side of each of your slices of bread. Add your Cheese. If you are adding Deli Meat, place one slice of cheese, meat, and then another slice of cheese. This helps the cheese melt. The butter side should be facing out.
When the Instant Oven is done preheating, add your sandwich to the middle of the tray.
*If using the Vortex Plus you need to flip half way. With the Omni/Omni Plus you can flip but it is not necessary.)

What do you mean by “slotted baking tray”? I have the Omni. It came with a wire rack and a solid baking tray.

Haha yes the wire rack. For some reason I couldn’t come up with exactly how to describe it and I was writing about the Vortex at the same time. Lol

How long do you cook the sandwich after preheating? Using the Omni Plus

Hi. When you set the Omni or Vortex to a specific time and then press start, it will start the count down after it preheat. So for this sandwich you set the time for 3 – 4 mins and press start. After it preheat it will beep, addthe sandwich and when you close the door it will automatically cook for the time you set.
